Data collection when visiting our website

Cookies
This website uses so-called cookies which help us to make our offer more user-friendly, more effective and safer. Cookies do not damage your computer and contain neither viruses nor other damaging tools. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the browser of the user or stored by the browser on the computer system of the user.
Most of the cookies we use are "session cookies" which are automatically deleted at the end of your visit, whereas "persistent cookies" remain stored on your computer until deleted, or until they reach their expiry date. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser, when you use the website again.
However, on most web browsers you may change this setting to have your web browser either: (1) notify you prior to a web site placing a cookie on your hard drive so that you can decide whether or not to accept the cookie; or (2) automatically prevent the placing of a cookie on your hard drive. The deactivation or rejection of cookies may restrict the functionality of this website.

Server log files
The provider (specifically their web space provider) collects data, referred to as server log files, of each visit to the website. This access data encompasses: The name of the website visited, files, date and time of the request, the amount of data sent, notification of a successful retrieval, the user’s browser type and version, along with their operating system, referrer URL (that of the last site visited), their IP address and the requesting provider. This data can not be assigned to a specific person and will not be merged with other data sources. The provider only processes such protocol data in a statistical sense to help improve operations, security and to optimize their offer. However, the provider also reserves the right to subsequently check the data should reasonable suspicion of illegitimate usage arise. This data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b Regulation(EU) 2016/679).

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service and a promotional ads service. Provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses "cookies" which are text files that are placed in your computer to permit the website to analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie concerning your use of this website (including your anonymized IP address) will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there. This data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO based on Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f Regulation(EU) 2016/679). The website owner has a legitimate interest to analyse user behaviour and characteristics in order to optimize the offered content and advertising.
For refusing the use of Google Analytics see: Browser plug-in / Oposition to data collection.
Further information how Google deals with user data can be found in the privacy statement of Google Analytics at: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en

IP-Anonymization
However, in the case of the activation of the IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be previously abridged by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other states which comply to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the US and abbreviated there. IP Anonymization is activated on this website; a localisation regarding privacy laws is not possible anymore. The IP address provided by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged together with any other Google data.
In light of the discussion about the use of analytics tools with full IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "anonymizeIp ()" and therefore IP addresses are shortened further in order to rule out a direct personal identification. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data with future effect (see below: Browser plug-in).

Browser plug-in
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
In addition, you can prevent the collecting and processing of the data generated by a cookie related to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
